This year instead of having a standard Christmas tree, we made a "Tree-pee." I made it out of PVC pipe that I spray painted brown, then made a tripod with fittings. I then set it up & taped it together with electrical tape. I wrapped garland & lights around each pole, and let each child decorate a pole. We could place gifts inside the treepee instead of around it. It was cool!

WoW Mel, that is THEE coolest idea EVER!! I LOVE IT- and I so wanna do it next year. How creative- where'd you think of that?? Did the kids like it? Cute idea that each kid gets to decorate their own pipe strand. So awesome!!!!!!
That is a cool, awesome idea. How fun! I wish I could have seen it at least.
